What is SEO and why do I need it?
What is SEO and why might my business need it?
SEO helps potential customers discover relevant pages on your website through search engines. Good SEO aims to improve useful visibility, qualified enquiries and business outcomes, not just keyword positions.
Our work may include technical website fixes, service-page improvements, helpful content, local visibility and tracking how visitors become genuine enquiries. The right plan depends on your market, your competition, the website and your goals. No agency can responsibly guarantee particular rankings or sales.
For a proposal, email info@pearllemongroup.com with your website, services, target geography, current challenges, goals, timeframe and approximate budget. We can begin by email and arrange a call if helpful.
SEO strategy, deliverables and expectations — expanded 21 October 2026
What does an SEO project typically involve?
SEO may include a technical review of crawling, indexability, site structure, canonical signals, redirects, page speed, internal linking, accessibility and mobile performance; analysis of search demand and competing results; on-page service pages and content improvements; local or international targeting; and measurement of qualified organic traffic, enquiries and business outcomes. The actual plan depends on the website and its goals rather than an automatic fixed checklist.
Why can my site get impressions but no enquiries?
Impressions are not the same as qualified demand. A page may appear for low-intent queries, rank below competitors, have an unclear offer, lack a persuasive call to action, target the wrong geography or fail to convert. The useful questions are: Which pages get impressions and clicks? Which queries bring high-intent searches? What is the landing-page experience? Can the website capture a qualified enquiry? Technical visibility, messaging and sales conversion must be considered together.
What is included in a technical SEO audit?
Scope may examine index coverage, robots and sitemap issues, duplicate or thin pages, internal linking, redirects and errors, structured data, Core Web Vitals, crawl architecture, site speed, mobile usability and search-console patterns. The output should distinguish critical problems from low-impact cosmetic items and prioritise achievable commercial improvements. We should not promise an audit report or specific delivery timeline before the team confirms scope.
How would you approach a SaaS or B2B company's organic growth?
Map the most commercially relevant buying tasks: use-case pages, industry-specific pages, comparison and alternative searches, integrations, pricing/support questions and location-specific services where legitimate. Connect SEO work to demo or enquiry quality, not just pageview totals. Product positioning, case-study evidence and sales readiness matter as much as search volume.
Can you improve local SEO or target a specific city?
We can assess location-focused websites and service areas. Relevant questions include where the business truly operates, whether it serves customers on-site, legitimate location pages and the quality of its local business profiles. We should never claim a physical office, service presence or Google Maps eligibility that the business cannot substantiate.
Do you guarantee a first-page ranking or number of leads?
No agency can guarantee a particular organic placement or search traffic figure because algorithms, competitors, demand, site constraints and customer behaviour change. A proposal should describe deliverables, prioritisation, measurement, assumptions and review points. Where older marketing pages quote performance claims, a commercial agreement must be verified independently.
Do I need to sign a year-long contract?
Not necessarily. You may request a technical remediation project, limited diagnostic engagement, defined initial scope, monthly campaign or another tailored arrangement. Duration, fees and cancellation terms depend on the actual offer accepted, not on an historical guide price.
What should I send for an initial assessment?
Your website URL; the products or services you want to sell; target markets and buyer type; your principal challenge (traffic, conversions, launch, technical issues or redesign); indicative budget and deadline if known. If you already have Search Console or GA4 information, you can describe patterns or share approved high-level summaries; do not paste login credentials into chat.
For an initial discussion, email info@pearllemongroup.com or request a marketing consultation. An introductory call is useful but not mandatory to ask what we might do.
